Judi Williams Moraw

Judi Williams Moraw came of age along the bayous of small-town south Louisiana on family land surrounded by relatives.  Cousins were playmates.  Grandparents, aunts, and uncles were babysitters.  Judi’s childhood in Lee’s Creek, just outside Bogalusa, LA, instilled in her a deep love of family and family history. She couples 33 years of law enforcement experience with her strong sense of family history in the series of books which follows main characters Allie Babineaux and Special Investigator Jaxon Girard through criminal investigations  that delve into locations and folklore from Judi’s own personal history.  The first in the series, All Bets Are Off, was completed in 2012, followed by Hell’s Gate, The Pelican on Egret Cove, and Inside the Glass Garden.  In addition, she has written numerous short stories preserving or based-on the experiences of family members, as well as several children’s stories written about and for her children and grandchildren.

Testimonials

Happy readers.

CAROLYN SEIDEL on Hell’s Gate:

“I just got through reading the first seven chapters of Hell’s Gate and my 1st question to you is ‘Why have you not published this?’ I have been reading all morning and just couldn’t stop.”

MARY LEVIGNE on Inside the Glass Garden:

“I have to say this is the most intriguing of all your books. Each one has pulled me in and I have thoroughly enjoyed them but this one has me sitting on the edge of the seat anxiously awaiting more. Good job, well done.”
